What is Small Town Remedy about?
A brilliant young neurosurgeon's career collapses after an outside surgery goes wrong, and he is forced back to his small hometown in China's northeast to work at a modest local clinic. Working with a quirky, under-resourced team, he deals with everyday emergencies, patient disputes and the struggles of grassroots healthcare, and slowly rebuilds his life along the way.
Based on the novel: Fei Dao 《飞刀（飞刀：我在小城当医生）》 by Liu Sanshu (刘三叔).
