The Best Thing

Shen Xifan is a hotel manager who lives on overtime and little sleep, and her insomnia and headaches finally send her to a traditional Chinese medicine clinic. There she meets He Suye, a calm, soft-spoken TCM doctor who is quietly exasperated that she keeps forgetting to pick up her herbal prescriptions. When they turn out to be neighbors, chance meetings slowly become something warmer. Both carry scars from earlier relationships, and the show lets their romance grow gently while she works out what she really wants from her own life.

Based on the novel: 《爱你，是我做过最好的事》 by Sheng Li (笙离).
