What is Who Rules the World about?
As the Dong empire weakens, its regional states and their heirs quietly compete for power. Feng Xiyun, a princess of Qingzhou, slips away from court to roam the martial world as the carefree swordswoman Bai Fengxi, while Feng Lanxi, the shrewd heir of Yongzhou, travels in disguise as the elegant Hei Fengxi. Keeping their true identities from each other, the two keep crossing paths, then team up, and slowly fall for each other. As the fight for the empire sharpens, they have to decide whether their ambitions and loyalties leave room for each other.
Based on the novel: 《且试天下》 by Qing Lengyue (倾泠月).
